I'm now officially a Crack(berry) user.

And loving it.

It's kind of ironic that Orange decide to email me today informing me that in a week or so they will be announcing iPhone tariff and handset prices... and I will be so gutted if it is cheaper. *But I highly doubt that.* Har.

More coursework taking up my life. Huzzah.

Free: Placebo Tour Bundle

placebotour

Placebo’s little collection of songs showcasing some support acts for their UK tour. Woo, free stuff. Saw the Silversun Pickups this summer when they were at Hard Rock Calling. Ahh, good times. Hopefully supporting Placebo will make them more popular in the UK :)

Tracklisting:
1. Placebo - ‘Breathe Underwater’ (Live At Pukkelpop Festival 2009)
2. Expatriate - ‘Get Out, Give In’
3. Silversun Pickups - ‘Panic Switch (Recorded live for KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic")
4. The Horrors - ‘Sea Within A Sea’
5. United - ‘For What I Feel’ (Live At Debaser)

Get it here.

Today, I am nostalgic.

I miss my parents. Yes, the annoying calls I get approximately every other Sunday checking that I’m doing loads of work and “not going out too much”. Blahhh. In fact thinking about it now I think I may just take a visit home and get some more clothes this weekend since I am in London anyway.. hmm, yah.

I miss decent food. I still haven’t used my cook book yet, and have been eating pizza for a few days now. I need to stop this crap-fuelled life of mine.

I miss the sun. Gloomy for the past few days and so my mood is now gloomy to match.

It feels nice that taxpayers are paying for my train ticket to London this weekend. Suckaz. 2 pieces of coursework handed in now; and one pending for next Friday.. which hasn’t been set yet. So basically when I get back from London it’s gonna be work overloadddd.

Oh, and you can tag people in Flickr photos now. Why are all these websites morphing into one… =@

Luckiest Baby in the World

First time watching the news in a long time.. And one of the first stories I see.. All I can say is that maybe miracles do happen..?

Onto my second piece of coursework already this semester. And week 3 hasn’t even started yet. :( Fortunately still have found time to keep up with me… 6 TV shows, getting lashed, sleeping, being ill and lectures. No time? Make time! Hopefully off to London this weekend which will be a nice escape from all this uni stress (which is positively correlated with the amount of hair I lose, as diagnosed by a doctor I’ll have you know).. So basically putting on hold the panic until I get back and it’s twice as worse than when the weekend began. And on top of that, job applications, ahhhh.

I Need to Learn How to Budget.

I’ve spent over £300 in the past 2 weeks at uni so far.. on going out, eating out, clothes and way too much drink. And I am now feeling mega guilty about it. What’s worse is my parents are actually out of the country so I’m surviving solely on the student loan which might start looking really bad if this continues.. Nonetheless the ease into second year has been rather pleasant (despite hangovers/tiredness) and I am now putting off a coursework write-up in order to update my blog. No doubt I shall also regret this time wasting later when I am too tired to do any more work and it dawns on me that I have to get up rather early for an epic day of lectures tomorrow. FUN.

So plan for the next few weeks is.. stop spending money. &only then shall I treat myself to a new phone (hopefully a bb!) ~_~

So, Stephen Gately died on Saturday night or something. Sad as he was so young. And really random too, just slept and didn’t wake up after a night of drinking or something..

OH, and I’m really glad those Kandy Rain bitches got voted off XFactor. They didn’t really help themselves – in regards to the whole stripper thing, and in terms of their crap voices.

It’s Moon Festival today!

(Also Mid-Autumn Festival) Which means you should look at the moon randomly at some point tonight as it will be at its biggest and brightest all year. I don’t have any moon cake though which I am really rather upset about but I guess I will have to go sometime without :(

All my housemates are moved in now into the house, so it’s nice to have some more people in the house to liven it up a bit more. After a messy night out last night I’m actually considering going out again tonight because once lectures start I will crawl under a rock or something. And now that my student loan has come through.. my “I’m poor” excuse isn’t working on myself anymore.. Plus I have to make the most of this last weekend before I get dropped into the deep end that is second year Economics!

This week has really been amazingly fun, met so many new people and it is banterful times.
