2 library all nighters later...

And I feel like I have learnt nothing. Nada. zilch. Oh well, in about 15 hours, the nightmare that is UK Policy will be over and I will be so ecstatic. Then just one more exam before I induce havoc on my body. Thursday 11.30am cannot come fast enough!

However there's something satisfying emerging onto campus in the morning sun with no one else around. Going to the lake to chase after ducks and rabbits was fun =) And trying to take pictures of the sunrise with the battery dying in my camera was certainly enough excitement for one library visit. Yet despite the number of hours I have been awake, my body somehow is physically unable to give me more than 6 hours of sleep at a time..
It's sure gonna be weird sleeping at a slightly more normal time today.. it's actually going to be dark!

Three days left of this.

I HATE HEATHER.

She drags me out to the library at like 11pm when I am mega tired, force feeds me coffee, and makes me stay here until god knows when so she doesn't seem like a loser who just goes to the library to go on facebook.
And she is stupid for not noticing me write all this. And she just looked at the screen, and STILL didn't notice. Lols.
Dumb and Dumber fits. :P

Remember the 90's..

Where they had those cartoons on MTV like Ren and Stimpy, Beavis and Butthead? Well my favourite was Daria. The clever lines delivered from that monotonous, cynical voice just makes for good entertainment. Throw in a quirky cast of exaggerated personalities and you get me watching the whole third season in one afternoon when I should really be learning content for an exam next week.. Well 2 seasons to go, and more than 2 days til my next exam.. :)

Today, this made me appreciate the diversity around us. A really interested project where the artist took photos from the same spot in Berlin, over a course of 20 days. There are only 178 people. I wonder what brought them to that bridge that day.

Marie and I are so incompetent at contributing in political conversations. =)

I love free stuff.

Like Coldplay's new live album, "LeftRightLeftRightLeft".

Some new songs, some old. Recorded on their Viva La Vida tour this year. I LIKE.

Revising Maths 1 whilst in town shopping and such is probably the best way to spend a day.

I'm dreading writing down how much I spent today. On useless things like overpriced rings that don't really fit my stupid fingers, Ugh. But I managed to lay my hands on some yummy fudge once again. :D It's strawberries and cream flavour. However, it is now half gone.. =x
And Nando's.. mmmm. 'Nuff said. Plus chocolate, haribo. I've been digesting for about 5 hours.

Today, I learned that you can strip your hair (of it's colour!). Painful images spring into mind. And I don't think I would go through with something like that, despite my annoyance at my hair's lack of ability to do anything.. Okay, so maybe it's a last resort.

I fucking loveeee going to the cinema. The Little Theatre cinema is amazing, those random short films they play. Today's was called "Desire", locked in a metal box, it is kept away from the realities of life. It was nice. Went to see Angels and Demons, my favourite book out of the Dan Brown series. I enjoyed it thoroughly, no money wasted :D Obviously I recall the book making a better impression on me, but I don't think you can compare two such different mediums.. Ewan McGregor was kind of out of place as a priest though, as the last time I saw him was shooting drugs into his arm via belt and needle in Trainspotting.. The story has a great twist at the end though, kudos for that :) Epic shots. Epic music. Epic cinema!
Eek, My eyes are shrivelling, time to take my contacts out.

Halfway there..!

Three out of six exams done. So far, so good.
A week til the next one: I've now lost all motivation to work, so will probably spend the weekend watching films, TV shows and wasting my time.

After listening to Placebo back catalogue (studio albums, b-sides, remixes etc etc) non-stop for about a week, I've come to my senses and am relishing other such artists. Still am mega mega excited for their new album which is out next month :) Album cover is kind of lame though, doesn't fit in very well with the others in their discography..

I was also really appreciated this page when I was stumbling the interweb this week. Not very sure what's it's useful for, except entertaining me for longer than it should have. So colourful @_@

Try and name all the bands you see here. More time wasting antics. :)

This is probably the fourth blog I have started..

So that's, four years of exams where I have decided that revision is further down the priority list than writing pointless crap. Incidentally the last four years of exams have been the most important ones.. Go me.
However, in a bid to change my fickle ways, I promise to try my hardest to make this yearly fad of mine slightly longer lasting than usual.

Things that have crossed my mind this week:
  1. I'm going to get totally screwed over by my exams.
  2. England is a horrible, horrible country, and I want out asap.
  3. I think I'm falling in love with coffee.
  4. Green tea bags suck ASS.
  5. I am in love with spending money.
  6. Delusion is definitely not healthy.
Tomorrow, I have to wake up for a 9.30am exam. I haven't been up before 12 for about 2 weeks. Neither have I gone to bed before 2am.
However, it will mark the two week's notice of the end of my first year of university. Whether this is a cause for celebration is yet to be decided... At least my parents agree that they don't want me spending three months or so of summer doing fuck all at home, so are kind of helping me to make plans to travel around China this summer. This makes me incredibly happy. In fact if it weren't for exams I would be bouncing off my blu-tak ruined, spider-web covered walls.
